Artist's Comments

f/16@1/6th secs on TriX 400, printed on Fiberbase Paper, toned with a 2 minute selenium bath.

(kl61 pointed out that it looked to blurry to be a 6 second shot, after looking at the description, I realized that I put 6 seconds, instead of 1/6th.)

(the blurry edge is due to the fact that this is printed full frame. The border is the same space I left when I window mounted this)

Very well done. The beauty of the waterfall is freezed in this moment of time. One almost stopped breathing at the face of this marvelous creation.

Nah, the border is super, natural looking.

As for the photo, mate that's just super. I mean it's all come together, the depth of field, the toning, the movement...

Wow.

all right...the picture itself is great...but you know what i like the best? the border....it just kind of bleeds out to the white...which is a nice effect (i'd keep doing that if i were you) ok...now back to the picture itself....

the feeling of motion is excellent...too often people catch the water mid-flow ... but you still manage to catch everything else still, no extra, unnecessary blur....very nice..

Truly a wonderful photograph. I love the warm tone and the bleeding edge. The smooth water shows you skills and eye.
